Genevieve Goffman is an artist living in Portland, OR. She graduated from Reed College, and her work has been shown in S1, The Melanie Flood Project, The White Gallery, and HQHQ. Much of her work involves the finding and re-organizing of fragments, in the hopes of comparing the stories that are remembered to those that fall through the cracks.
About the talk:
“As a deeply unskilled and unathletic person, I suffer from a not really suppressed at all imposter syndrome both in the gym and in the Studio. This artist talk will explore the importance of faking it till you make, making do and pretense that makes up both my gym life and my art practice.”
